I loved seeing "Downingtown Police" on the officer's uniforms and police cars. I feel very connected to the Blob. It's not a good film, but I end up seeing it every year because of Blobfest. The Colonial is one of my favorite movie theatres in the area and seeing the Blob there is always fun. I doubt that I will be able to attend Blobfest this year since it's also the second weekend of the Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (the second largest in the US!) and I'll be getting ready to move. If you get a chance to see the Blob with Holly Cusamono, you must. She's so much fun and is a P-ville expert. Enjoy the show and think of me when you run out of that theatre!
